Mindless Fear

as-seen-on-tv

Here’s a great short poem on fear. Mindless Fear by Christine Senter.

I just attended a seminar about investing money and the guy showed us the “wall of fear” that was an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.

Christine Senter really puts it in perspective. She really builds the suspense.

Here is the first stanza:

A passionate kiss.
A frightening scream.
At first I thought,
it was merely a dream…

ya gotta read the ending. Read it here.

When I Dream
When I was very young I was tormented by dreams of vague menace. I was no stranger to waking up in a cold sweat. This is simply a perspective on dreaming. I hope you enjoy.

Listening
There comes a time in every person’s life where they’re alone. Sometimes this is a time of peace and reflection. Other times it is anything but. This poem offers a perspective for you to consider. I did when I wrote it.

  1. Hey Ollie,
Wow, thank you so much for offering my goofy little poem to the rest of the world. That is the sweetest gesture I’ve had happen to me in a long time.

May all your writing dreams come true.
