I just attended a seminar about investing money and the guy showed us the “wall of fear” that was an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.

Many times I have contemplated what my real purpose in life is. I wrote this poem at a time when I realised that simply musing, whilst entertaining, was less important than actually doing things and that wasting time simply robbed you of life. Life that could be spent in getting things done.

I wrote this poem after a lady friend of mine went through a difficult time in her marriage. She was torn between staying with a dominating husband or starting a new life with someone she had just met. I don’t know the final outcome, but I felt for her in her doubt and insecurity.
